Kevin Sowers Named President of the Johns Hopkins Health System and Executive Vice President of Johns Hopkins Medicine

The Johns Hopkins Health System Trustees named Kevin W. Sowers, M.S.N., R.N., F.A.A.N., as the next president of the Johns Hopkins Health System and executive vice president of Johns Hopkins Medicine.
He comes to us from the Duke University Hospital, where he was acting president and CEO for eight years. He has been in health care for 32 years, starting as a staff oncology nurse in 1985.
From providing direct patient care as a staff nurse, to leading Duke University Hospital to better clinical quality, patient satisfaction, work culture and financial standing, Sowers has shown his is versatility and multi-disciplinary skill set.
