Suburban Hospital Receives Prestigious ANCC Magnet Designation
May 21, 2019
Suburban Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has achieved Magnet designation in recognition of its nursing excellence. The American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program is the highest national credential for professional nursing practice and provides consumers with the ultimate benchmark for measuring quality of care.
Fewer than eight percent of U.S. hospitals achieve this prestigious recognition. Suburban Hospital is the first and only hospital in Montgomery County to be Magnet designated.
